A guarantee in place

STO Garant

In order to meet its statutory obligation to provide a guarantee, La Reine Cruises uses STO Garant, a guarantee scheme recognised by the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM). You can check that this is the case by visiting STO Garant’s website and verifying that the organisation is listed as a participant (www.sto-garant.nl/en/members). You can find all information relating to STO Garant at www.sto-garant.nl/en.

Whether STO Garant's guarantee applies to a particular (travel) offer made by La Reine Cruises is specified for that offer. The Guarantee Scheme specifies what the guarantee covers and which conditions apply. You can find the Guarantee Scheme on STO Garant's website (www.sto- garant.nl/en/downloads).

How it works

If STO Garant's guarantee applies to your booking, you do not pay the booking amount to La Reine Cruises but instead into the escrow account belonging to Stichting Derdengelden Certo Escrow, a payment services provider registered with De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) and the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM). This trust account holds your payment in reserve until the trip booked has come to an end. The booking amount is then released to La Reine Cruises on the day after your trip ends. If La Reine Cruises should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee. The Guarantee Scheme details how you can make a claim under the guarantee in such cases.

Food Options

  • Half board food service: (7 breakfasts, daily lunch or dinner): € 590 /person/week

  • Extra meal: € 50 /person

  • Children discounts: under 12 years 25% discount


Drink Options

  • Drinks services: Quality house wines red, white, rosé and local beer included:
    € 260/person/week

  • Drinks package without wines and beer: € 125 /person/week

  • Spirits and premium wines: according to the bar price list

  • Corkage fee: € 135 /person/week

La Reine has a wine list with premium wines from Greece, the owner's personal selection, available by the bottle.


Port and Tourist Taxes

  • Port fees, anchorages, and Tourist taxes will be charged from the A.P.A..


A.P.A. (Advanced Provisional Allowance)

  • € 5.500. Surplus will be refunded.


VAT

  • Current Greek rate


  • Port authorities formalities, yacht agency fees
  • Insurance, covering luggage, money, cancelling, additional health costs, accidents abroad, repatriation, and extra expenses

Extras, such as customs formalities, port fees, excursions ashore, taxi rides on the islands, motorised watersports, spirits, premium wines, extra meals, airconditioning (€ 35/hour), addtional personal supplies aboard, will be deducted from the A.P.A..

Tips:

  • It is customary to tip between 5% to 10% of the charter rate, according to satisfaction.


Motorised water sports:

  • LA REINE's water ski epquipment is available at € 60 per 30 minutes.
  • Captain can arrange all sorts of watersports from professional watersport companies along the Greek islands.
